The Edible, The Beautiful & The Necessary - A Year in the Garden

The Oklahoma County Master Gardeners Association (OCMGA) will present A Year in the Garden during its monthly Third Thursday free gardening lecture series in the month of July.
The July Third Thursday presentation, based on year-round gardening is entitled The Edible, The Beautiful & The Necessary – A Year in the Garden and will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Master Gardeners will cover an
overview of an entire year in the garden, including tips and schedules for when to plant, care for and harvest vegetables. OCMGA will share thoughts on perennial and annual color, and how to bring your outdoors in to create beautiful arrangements. Also available will be easy to follow schedules, thoughts on water conservation and great tips for successful gardening.
The Third Thursday lecture series is held at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Center at 930 N. Portland, Oklahoma City (the buff brick one-story building on the Southeast corner of Portland and NW 10th, just south of the new OSU Engineering building).
This event is free to the community and is part of the monthly educational series, OCMGA Third Thursday Garden Lecture Series - 2014 - Gardening from the Ground Up. Registration is not required.
