Some suggestions before 7:30 p.m. Thursday, when the Oklahoma City Museum of Art screens this year’s five Oscar-nominated documentary short films, each roughly 40 minutes in length. Visit the restroom first. Get comfy. Have some Kleenex handy. And perhaps a handful of St. John’s wort.

‘Undefeated’ unspooling here

Sarah Palin documentary opens locally

“The Undefeated,” the documentary charting Sarah Palin’s rise from obscurity to national political player, opens locally today, exclusively at AMC Quail Springs Mall 24, 2501 W. Memorial.

Its independent distributor — the doc was not made with Palin’s direct participation — calls it “the year’s most controversial film.” (Wait, doesn’t “Zookeeper” lay claim to that title?) —Rod Lott
