The Resident

1 bed, 1 bath, 2 bad

Rod Lott
It’s a buyer’s market out there, Hilary Swank. There’s no reason you should rent a New York City apartment in which Jeffrey Dean Morgan watches you bathe from his hidey-hole within the walls.

Rod Lott
“Paired” — ahem — thematically across six discs are 12 feature films hosted by Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark, on her Mega Movie Marathon. Carrie / Dario Argento's Dracula 3D

Everything old is boo again.

Rod Lott
With Carrie, director Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don't Cry) bravely steps up to the challenge of remaking Brian De Palma's 1976 horror classic — one of the genre's few to boast Academy Award nominations in major categories — but one senses even she knows her version will pale.
