City's Festival of the Arts has been ranked as No. 16 in the 100 Fine
Arts Fairs nationwide for 2011, according to Art Fair SourceBook.

Oklahoma City’s rite of spring, the Festival of the Arts, is back for
its 45th year. Now through Sunday, the fest takes place in downtown
around the Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno.

Oklahoma City was built for cars. Like many young cities in this part of
the country, its growth sprawled out across a grid of major streets
intersecting every mile, overlaid by a wider grid of in-town highways.
Most trips take just 10 or 20 minutes even if they take almost as many
miles.
