So who hasn’t noticed all the great development in Midtown? But all that revitalization means a few casualties in the form of old buildings that haven’t been rehab contenders.
One such casualty was the former Red Cross building on the corner of Hudson and N.W. 10th. But instead of just bulldozing the 1935 building, the good folks in Midtown are selling the vintage bricks that made up the building.
There are 60,000 red bricks for sale at $1 per brick, plus some parapets from the old building. For more information, contact Susan Hogan with the Medical Business District, 297-1682.
