$30 million question

Preliminary cost estimates are out for all eight of the MAPS 3 projects, and the question of an OGE substation being moved using $30 million from the $280 million for the convention center funds came to a head during recent MAPS 3 oversight meetings.

Last call for Stage Center?

Jan. 16 is the deadline for Oklahoma City performing arts lovers to save Stage Center theater, formerly known as Mummers Theater. On that day, the Downtown Design Review Committee will decide whether to approve razing the theater, which was designed by Harvard-educated architect John M. Johansen and opened in 1970.
