To commemorate National Fishing Week, the city of Oklahoma City will allow anglers to fish Lakes Hefner, Overholser and Draper — not to mention select city parks — without obtaining fishing permits or licenses. We won’t tell the bass, walleye, crappie and catfish if you won’t. Visit okc.gov/parks.

Water Won’t Wait sounds like a city conservation effort. Instead, it’s an all-new, original production of Perpetual Motion Dance, staging Friday-Sunday at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, 3000 General Pershing. Through the local troupe’s signature visuals and ingenuity, the performance explores “the unalterable current of time.” Tickets are $10-$18. Call 206-2843 or visit perpetualmotiondance.org.
