I must say a few words about your choice of cover for the Jan. 25 issue (News, “I want a new drug”), because I don't think I've ever seen a major publication in our city or state run something so exploitative and repulsive.

Although addicted gamblers in Oklahoma are estimated to number well more than 100,000, only $750,000 is allotted by the state to treat the problem. As the number of problem gamblers grows, those charged with administering treatment are tasked with doing more and more with only allocated portions of that yearly $750,000.
