Metalheads should find Wretched anything but. The deathcore band from North Carolina plays Tuesday at The Chameleon Room, 3034 N. Portland. The group threatens to “devastate and destroy all naysayers,” so you’ve been warned. Son of Perdition is its latest album, not to be confused with that Tom Hanks movie where he wore the hat. Tickets are $10- $13. Call 537-8136 or visit ticketstorm.com.

If you’re anything like us, your opera voice is usually reserved for the shower. Not so for Barbara Caprilli and Rob Glaubitz, assistant professors of voice at the University of Central Oklahoma School of Music. See them perform separate one-act, one-man operas “Bon Appetit” and “A Water Bird Talk” 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the UCO Jazz Lab, 100 E. Fifth St. in Edmond. Tickets are $10. Call 974-5004 or visit uco.edu.
