Bat it

OKG7 things to do

Gazette staff

Not to scare you or anything, but did you know there are 22 species of bats in Oklahoma? It’s OK; they usually leave us each winter, though some were kind enough to stop by Chiroptera, a spooky, Mesoamerican-inspired installation featuring the furry flying rodents. Flap your way into its opening reception from 7-10 p.m. Friday at Bomb Shelter, 1609 N. Blackwelder Ave. #2. Admission is free. Call 628-2689.
