Benjamin Lytal has titled his debut novel, A Map of Tulsa, after his hometown. A coming-of-age story set in late-’90s T-Town, it has been dubbed a Catcher in the Rye for “Internet-suckled American youth” by industry bible Publishers Weekly. Hear ye, hear ye! Benjamin Franklin lives! Okay, not quite. But TheatreOCU Artistic Director Lance Marsh will bring the founding father back to life for National Constitution Day in a performance to honor the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. The resurrection takes place at 6 and 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel on the Oklahoma City University campus, 2501 N. Blackwelder Ave.. Admission is free.
