Runs aren’t just for big people. For girls and boys 12 and under, the third annual Princess Run and Little Dude Dash take off Sunday at the OKC Boathouse Foundation, 725 S. Lincoln, at $20 per entry. Boathouse venue tours and youth activities are planned, as part of the free family festival open from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Visit princessrun.com.

Sidewalks don’t grab the spotlight like convention centers and streetcars, but Mayor Mick Cornett called the planned addition of nearly 65 miles of new sidewalks across the city one of the most important parts of Metropolitan Area Projects, or MAPS 3.
