An amendment that would allow the ordination of gay clergy has some Presbyterian ministers talking schism.

The Presbyterian Church (USA) moved closer to ordaining LGBT candidates for ministry last month. The Twin Cities Presbytery in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area became the 87th presbytery to ratify Amendment 10-A, which changed previous language that only allowed for married or celibate candidates to be considered.

I've seen many a zombie movie — too many, one could argue successfully — but 1966's The Frozen Dead must be the first in which a member of the undead was so concerned with hair care, Carly Simon probably wrote a song about him. As the pic's mad scientist introduces him, “This one is harmless. He combs his hair continuously, like a vain adolescent.”

Mustang residents are nauseated over a Halloween display by Johnnie Mullins that includes, you know, gravestones, ghosts dangling from tree branches and ... a faux, bloody, headless corpse in his driveway — with handprints around it, as the poor soul was fighting for his life when a garage door closed on him.
