Sooner Tea Party co-founder Al Gerhart has a surprising new ally in his defense against state blackmail charges stemming from a threatening email he sent to a state senator. Citing First Amendment concerns, the Oklahoma chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union has agreed to aid the carpenter-turned-political-activist who pleaded not guilty.
