London, jazz, neon-lit nights, a posh hotel, a heist, Imogen Poots: Comes a Bright Day has so many elements I love to see in the movies, yet they add up to such a minuscule amount of pleasure. It's like pouring your favorite bubbly beverage all the way to the top of a frosty glass, only to see that once the head has subsided, you're left with so little.

Brightmusic Society of Oklahoma welcomes NPR Morning Edition music commentator Miles Hoffman and his viola for Bright Tales. Performing works by Mozart, Schumann and others, the classical concerts are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday at All Souls’ Episcopal Church, 6400 N. Pennsylvania, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, 127 N.W. Seventh. Admission is $10. Visit brightmusic.org.
