Drive-through hand jive

Cover your eyes, kids!

CFN

Gazette staff
When we here at CFN hear about Tulsa’s Fox 23 passing along warnings from Tulsa police about sexual deviants, we hearken back to reports of last year’s Pedobear scare, in which parents were warned to protect youngsters from a child-molesting teddy bear, which started as an Internet meme and was reportedly sighted at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Horror

Rod Lott
Found-footage movies are no longer novel, but they're cheap to make, so expect to see many, many more shoot out Hollywood's pipeline. As long as concepts are tweaked, however, surprises like Chronicle can occur.

Vile

Not for the weak — duh.

Horror

Rod Lott

Egged on

CFN

Gazette staff
Some people, like Tulsa resident Carl Neat, really like Christmas. But, as Neat found out the hard way, some really don’t. On Nov. 30, two vandals egged Neat’s house and obliterated the $2,000 Christmas wonderland he has built up and assembled in his front yard over the past 20 years.

Missed connections

CFN

Gazette staff
Craigslist isn’t just for selling old couches or posting sad-but-hopeful missed connections notes anymore. No, really. It’s for stopping crime. You’ve been warned.
