Gay Phillips and Sue Barton have been a couple for 29 years. For the past nine, they’ve been fighting the state of Oklahoma to recognize their marriage. They joined a federal lawsuit filed by Tulsans Mary Bishop and Sharon Baldwin in 2004 after state voters passed a same-sex marriage ban.

An alcohol tax lawsuit takes hundreds of area restaurants to court over the definition of advertised drink prices.

A disagreement over how restaurants are required to advertise and charge the state’s mixed drink tax for alcoholic beverages landed in a Canadian County courtroom last week as hundreds of restaurants were named as defendants in a lawsuit.
