Wrong again

Letters to the Editor

David Grow
Rev. Steve Kern’s letter to the editor ("What evolutionists fear,” March 13, Oklahoma Gazette) projects, yet again, his willful ignorance of science. His characterizations of evolutionary science are flat wrong

Corporate democracy isn’t viable

Letters to the Editor

James Nimmo
Why, oh, why have so many Americans been hoodwinked by the gross idea that corporate democracy can be exported to countries that do not want it and don’t have the society to implement it?

Pants or no pants — e-fairness is needed

Letters to the Editor

Steve Schlegel
I find it laughable that Hal Stevens thinks so little of brick-and-mortar retailers that he’d call us stooges for the state government and “inefficient” presumably because we chose to base our business in the community (Letters, Hal Stevens, “Mucking up marketplace fairness,” Aug. 7, Gazette). I was insulted for myself and the other retailers who are advocating for the Marketplace Fairness Act (MFA) until I found out that Mr. Stevens is an eBay retailer. eBay is based around this loophole, and their lobbyists are paying through the nose to keep this loophole alive.

LETTERS

Marty Morelli
It is said that some people only learn by experience. But, believe me, you don’t want to always have to experience some things to get the picture. I was in both EF5 twisters on May 3, 1999, and May 20, 2013, that struck Moore.

LETTERS

Letters to the Editor

C. Dale German
Atheist Rebecca Vitsmun is quoted in Gazette on Aug. 7 as saying, “I decided it was impossible for the god that I believed in to condemn billions of people in Asia, Africa and across the world to eternal damnation for not knowing who Jesus was… I decided that all religions were worshiping the same thing as long as they believed that good was the thing to strive for.”

LETTERS

Letters to the Editor

Richard Hardin
Ref: “On the right side of history” by Adam Soltani (Commentary, Aug. 28, Gazette). Our freedom of religion in this country has always allowed us to criticize other religions, even the Pope, and has allowed us to try to explain our religion to others in hopes they will join ours, which we, naturally, think is the best.
