We’re guessing not every release party entails hanging by hooks and lying on broken glass. Of course, not everybody is The Captain’s Sideshow. The local group celebrates its own DVD with a shindig from 9 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday at Voodoo Lounge, 530 S. Broadway. Special guests include Gunpowder Junkies, Gog and Cutthroat Freak Show.
