OKG7 things to do

Eight local artists were invited to explore how their elementary-aged children (or younger, God bless ’em) impacted their art. Somehow, those creative parents were able to find the time, and the results can be seen at In Your Eye Gallery, 3005-A Paseo. To be shown through April 29, Legacy begins with a reception from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday. Admission is free. Call 525-2161 or visit inyoureyegallery.com.

Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel

An icon of fashion takes the spotlight.

Documentary

Phil Bacharach
You might not know it, but chances are Diana Vreeland has a great deal to do with what you think when it comes to fashion, style and design. As fashion editor for Harper’s Bazaar and, later, editor of Vogue, she injected post-World War II America with an almost revolutionary sense of, as she put it, “pizzazz.”

Mold!

Spread the word: a B movie that’s semi-infectious.

Sci-Fi

Rod Lott
Ignore the grim, apocalyptic cover of this DVD, which depicts the flick’s vibe so inaccurately, it even drops the title’s exclamation point. Make no mistake: Mold! has mirth on its mind ... even if those brains have spilled onto the floor.

The Aquabats! Super Show! Season One! 2012

Ritalin! Not! Necessary! But! It! Won't! Hurt!

Television series

Rod Lott
For those Ritalin-chompin’ children who find Nickelodeon’s Yo Gabba Gabba! too slow-paced, The Hub’s The Aquabats! Super Show! should satiate them. After all, its title has double the exclamation points.
