So we may be a land of "diabeetus"-plagued
, uninsured drivers
, but dammit if we don't know how to create a thriving, colorful arts district.
The Paseo has just been named by Travel & Leisure
as one of America's most beautiful neighborhoods
. I have to agree — the colorful buildings, locally owned shops and restaurants and fun vibe (the area just held its annual Fairy Ball last weekend) has made the Paseo a wonderful place to call home for the past five years. And, it's not just a pretty place. Forbes recently named the district as one of the top transformed neighborhoods
. And and
the real estate in the area is steady and climbing.
Doesn't that make you want to live there? It does, right? And lucky for you, I have a hot tip on an amazing brick tudor home from 1929 that is looking for a new family. It's potty-trained and everything.
