VOTD: Law man

Watch the Choctaw folksinger pick, chat about life on the farm.

Local guy Ryan Lawson has a Twitter handle, but not a TV or access to the Internet. Interesting.

He’s also got a bunch of good, authoritative songs in folk, country and bluegrass styles, so maybe there’s something to living out on the fringe. Rebirth

Many storm-ravaged local businesses have rebounded with the help of the communities of Moore

News

Mark Beutler
Driving the stretch of Interstate 35 through Moore, it is difficult to imagine the destruction left just a few months ago. Six months after an EF-5 tornado ripped through the area on May 20, signs of life are everywhere. Businesses have re-opened, houses and neighborhoods are going up and residents are beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Drum right

No offense to the Okarche economy, but great fried chicken can be found right here in the metro, at The Drum Room.

Restaurant Reviews

Greg Elwell
If you think the only way to get good fried chicken is by driving 45 minutes to the west, I have good news.
