The Rev. Steve Kern (Letters, “Fuel for fossil debate,” July 27, Gazette) invites derision rather than serious rebuttal when he writes of “observable evidence that has convinced me that dinosaurs and man lived at the same time,” and bolsters the argument with assurances that he does indeed realize that the Earth is round.
