I am not talking about those brave, idealistic, underpaid lawyers who work to protect the last and the least, but KFOR, KOCO, KWTV and other local media outlets whose job it has become to defend the honor and reputation of our state when it is under attack by “foreigners” — aka, Australian politicians, lying journalists at Sports Illustrated or even the “unorthodox” Ed Shadid.

A disagreement over how restaurants are required to advertise and charge the state’s mixed drink tax for alcoholic beverages landed in a Canadian County courtroom Wednesday as hundreds of restaurants were named as defendants in a lawsuit.
