Son of Morning

Son of a ...

Comedy

Rod Lott
“Son of Morning” is so poorly executed, it did not deserve to see the light of day. Its opening scenes of quirkiness are endearing until its story dawns.

Painting the town Greg

Longtime local artist Greg Burns keeps up with the ever-changing city.

Visual Arts

Patrick Crain
Somewhere there exists a run of prints of a one-off Greg Burns piece containing a small detail that makes it rare. At first blush, it looks familiar enough: a rendering of the iconic Townley’s milk-bottle grocery store on Classen Boulevard.

Crossing a line

Letters to the Editor

Kevin Michaels
I think you have crossed a line with your last several issues. I am referring to your eagerness to use profanity (F-bombs) in articles, in quotes (still not appropriate) as well as others.

Spirited away

Food and Drink Features

By 1900, however, chocolate, vanilla and strawberry syrups were introduced, sans the whiskey, creating a more familiar version.

Milk Jr - Bad Things Don't Happen to Bad People

Rock

Joshua Boydston
As Harvey Dent would tell it, the night is darkest just before the dawn.

Judging by its debut album, Oklahoma City noise punks Milk Jr understand that sentiment all too well and built up seven songs using that concept as currency.
