Who is Jamie Pettis, you ask? She’s an artist new to OKC, so naturally, her first solo exhibit in town is titled I Am. Containing 14 Prismacolor pencil portraits, the show can be seen from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at Velvet Monkey Salon, 1701 N.W. 16th, during the Plaza District’s Live on the Plaza, and will remain on display for the rest of the month. Call 528-1106 or visit velvetmonkeysalon.com.
