The works of an internationally renowned photographer will be on display in the exhibit “Amy Blakemore: Photographs 1988-2008,” which opens Thursday and runs until July 10, at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch.
Photographs of Native culture are nice and all, but most are taken from an outsider’s perspective. Our People, Our Land, Our Images depicts the indigenous people from the view of those who live in it. See the exhibit of 50 works by 26 indigenous artists spanning three generations beginning April 11 at the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, 555 Elm Ave. in Norman. Admission is free.
