The Amazing Spider-Man

Spins a web, familiar size.

Action

Rod Lott
I still don’t know why Hollywood felt that Spider-Man, all of 10 years young, needed to be remade — I suspect it has to do with selling toys. Enough of calling The Amazing Spider-Man a “reboot,” too; this is a remake through and through.

The Collection

Horror

Rod Lott

Television series

Rod Lott

Femme Fatales: The Complete Second Season

Refractory period over; ready to go again?

Television series

Rod Lott

The better sex engages in better sex, all while pulling the wool — surgically enhanced and otherwise — over the eyes of stupid men.

In reform, real focus on needs on students

Commentary

Gene Perry
Oklahoma’s education debate spends a lot of time on a few familiar subjects: education funding vs. tax cuts, vouchers and charters vs. traditional public schools and high-stakes testing vs. letting teachers teach.
