Moral 'Oral'

Letters to the Editor

Brandon Wertz
I have a couple of problems with Frank Riddick’s “Oral argument” (Letters, Oct. 5, Gazette). His response to Greg Horton’s “Walk this way” article (Sept. 21, Gazette) tries its hardest to find contradiction in Randy Potts’ interpretation of Christianity by utilizing mental jujitsu to prove that same interpretation would allow for murder.

Delayed reaction

A measure to amend the city’s nondiscrimination policy will be revisited at the Nov. 15 council meeting.

Clifton Adcock

The Oklahoma City Council will consider at its Nov. 15 meeting whether to add “sexual orientation” to the nondiscrimination policy for city employees, after the topic was tabled during its Oct. 25 meeting.

The Chapman Report

The women of 'The Chapman Report' are as uncomfortable talking about sex as they are having it.

Rod Lott
Judging by the 1962 portrayed by The Chapman Report, everybody smoked cigarettes, LPs of poetry readings were a hot commodity, and the female orgasm had yet to be invented. While this film from legendary old-Hollywood director George Cukor (My Fair Lady) was determined to be earnest and serious in its time, it's quite a hoot today.
