Soaring into City Arts Center, 3000 General Pershing, are Soaring Voices — specifically, 87 contemporary ceramic works by 25 Japanese female artists. Debuting locally with a public reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the traveling exhibition remains on display through Aug. 25. Admission is free. Call 951-0000 or visit cityartscenter.org.
