When The Sounds asked Kids at the Bar to sidle up for a European tour, the OKC DJ duo made it a double.

Water Won’t Wait sounds like a city conservation effort. Instead, it’s an all-new, original production of Perpetual Motion Dance, staging Friday-Sunday at Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center, 3000 General Pershing. Through the local troupe’s signature visuals and ingenuity, the performance explores “the unalterable current of time.” Tickets are $10-$18. Call 206-2843 or visit perpetualmotiondance.org.

It sure sounds like the 1960s as the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch, presents two acclaimed rockumentaries. At 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 12:30 p.m. Sunday, see The Band member Levon Helm in Ain’t In It for My Health. Then, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 3 p.m. Sunday, cringe at Cream and Blind Faith drummer Ginger Baker in Beware of Mr. Baker. Tickets are $5-$8. Call 236- 3100 or visit okcmoa.com.
