They put the “mock” in “democracy.” They’re The Capitol Steps, the long-running political comedy troupe, and something tells us they’ve got lots to joke about on their current national tour. As bad as that recent Hitchcock biopic was, it doesn’t damage the greatness of the suspense master’s films. One of his early successes, The 39 Steps, helped inform a Tony-winning Broadway version in 2008 that now is at Jewel Box Theatre, 3700 N. Walker.
