Hope and dignity

On a February morning, Jonathan Roberts braces himself, first for the freezing weather and then for what he will encounter in a wooded area near northwest Oklahoma City. He is headed for a homeless encampment created out of signs, shopping carts, beat-up tents and whatever else can be reclaimed to provide warmth and shelter.
