More than 3,400 Oklahomans suffer from the debilitating nerve disease known as multiple sclerosis. Help find a cure by stepping out at Saturday’s annual Walk MS at Oklahoma City Zoo, 2101 N.E. 50th. Registration begins 7 a.m. for the 8:30 walk. Participants can enjoy the zoo for free afterward! Call 800-344-4867 or visit walkmsok.org.

Take a step — or many, really — to fight a disease that affects thousands of Oklahomans, with Oklahoma City’s third annual National Kidney Foundation walk. The walk begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, with check-in two hours prior, at Stars and Stripes Park at Lake Hefner. Call 401-1729 or visit donate.kidney.org.

Sunday’s annual AIDS Walk of Oklahoma City gets a twist: the addition of a pooch parade! While the walk steps off at 2 p.m. (registration at 12:30 p.m.) at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno, costumed dogs will strut their stuff at a 1 p.m. fashion show for a chance at dragging home a fabulous trophy. Admission is free. Visit aidswalkokc.org.
