All that

Adult actress Jesse Jane is more than, well, a porn star. She’s also a local, loves Warren Theatre and performs live four nights this week.

Features

Jennifer Chancellor
Jesse Jane, born Cindy Taylor in 1980 and raised in Moore, still calls the city home. A former cheerleader and Hawaiian Tropic model, now a bona fide adult film star, the 33-yearold still lives in — and loves — the Sooner State, she said.

Inside Llewyn Davis

The Coen brothers’ new film is a heady, heartfelt character study and period piece. In other words, quintessential Coen.

Drama

Zach Hale
The album artwork for 1963’s The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan was nothing if not iconic. The image of a young Dylan with then-girlfriend Suze Rotolo clinging to his side, walking down a snow-covered street in New York’s Greenwich Village embodied the early ’60s folk movement like no other. It’s also where Inside Llewyn Davis makes its music.

Horror

Rod Lott
It's official: We're living in a golden age of horror anthologies. True, the long-moribund subgenre isn't every fright fan's cup of tea, but those who like variety in one double-hour package have enjoyed a wealth of opportunities over the last few years and especially 2013.

Saving Mr. Banks

Making Disney's Mary Poppins was anything but merry, as this winner shows.

Drama

Rod Lott
If there's one thing Hollywood loves more than itself, it's stories about itself. From The Artist to Argo, these films have translated into Tinseltown's ultimate display of self-affection: Oscar gold.

American Hustle

David O. Russell's latest proves there’s still a lot of criminal fun to be had from the time of polyester and disco.

Comedy

Phil Bacharach
Starting a major motion picture with a bald guy working on a comb-over isn’t the most obvious of choices. But American Hustle begins with Christian Bale, paunchy and fleshy and in decidedly non-Dark Knight shape, fixing his hair with a watchmaker’s precision. He glues down a massive comb-over and maneuvers a monstrous toupee before the coup de grâce: dousing the hirsute creation in nearly half a can of hairspray.
