Even with The Ultimate Life’s imminent release, it didn’t truly hit Edmond screenwriter Lisa Shillingburg that her screenplay for the movie was becoming a reality until she noticed a standee one afternoon at the movies.
Jeanetta Calhoun Mish has a way with words. As part of the University of Central Oklahoma’s Creative Writing Readers’ Series, the scholar, teacher and award-winning poet will recite excerpts from her poetry collection at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Pegasus Theater on the UCO Campus, 100 N.
