I was watching ESPN the other night and saw Skip Bayless, Tim Legler and
Stephen A. Smith spend 20 minutes talking about the Oklahoma City
Thunder. A few days earlier, I’d seen the ESPN First Take team analyzing Russell Westbrook’s game.

All things considered, 2012 was a pretty decent year for former
University of Oklahoma quarterback Landry Jones: He had the highest
completion percentage (66.1 percent) and threw the fewest interceptions
(11 – OK, still not great) of his career.

If there’s one thing we Oklahomans take pride in — at least now that the
Thunder season’s over — it’s our football. Arguably the most prideful
of all is University of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, who’s never shied
from an opportunity to boast about the prestigious nature of both his
program and its Big 12 conference.
