Praised in these very pages back in June as one of six flicks not to miss at deadCENTER, the documentary Beauty Is Embarrassing returns to town with four screenings between Thursday and Sunday at Oklahoma City Museum of Art, 415 Couch. Directed by Okie-raised Neil Berkeley, it’s about Wayne White, the artist who designed most of the Pee-wee’s Playhouse puppets. And it’s awesome. Tickets are $5-$8. Call 236- 3100 or visit okcmoa.com.
