If you’re an avid runner, odds are you already run with purpose. That the 27th annual Renaissance Run benefits health-related community projects and programs is added incentive. The 5k run and walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Midwest City Community Center, 200 N. Midwest Blvd. in Midwest City. Registration on the date of the event is $30 and includes a post-run pancake breakfast. Call 739-1293 or visit midwestregional.com.
