Oklahoma might seem an unlikely place for a fledgling organization of gun-control advocates, but a grassroots effort under way in the state is calling for stronger gun laws. The local chapter of Moms Demand Action is part of a national group founded in the days after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

Tom Coburn and James Inhofe (and 45 others) for voting “no” on expanding the background checks for gun buyers is long on emotion, replete with meaningless statistics and flavored with erroneous polls.

For “gun-control” politicians: On one side of the issue are roughly a hundred thousand armed criminals (bad guys). On the other side are a hundred million lawful, responsible gun owners (good guys) who are definitely not part of the problem.
