What are six unemployed steelworkers to do for money? Take it off — take it all off. That’s the setup for the 1997 Oscar-winning film The Full Monty, now a musical to be performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Mitchell Hall Theater, 100 N. University in Edmond. Tickets are $10-$14 — a bargain for that much skin! Call 974-3375 or visit click4tix.com/uco.

Trot it

OKG7 things to do

Big changes afoot for the 13th annual Turkey Trot: No longer is the race held Thanksgiving morning. Instead, the event kicks off at 7 a.m. Friday, so runners can zoom off all that gravy. Taking off from the Myriad Botanical Gardens, 301 W. Reno, are a 5K run, a 1-mile Wobble Run and a 200-yard children’s run, all benefiting charity, with games and activities afterward. Call 840-1359 or visit oklahomacityturkeytrot.org.

Tormented

Disappointed.

Horror

Rod Lott
Grudge guru Takashi Shimizu isn’t at a career apex. His 2009 film, The Shock Labyrinth, was a dud. His latest American effort, the airline ghost story 7500, was supposed to come out in theaters last summer, but got pushed to next month. So I hoped Tormented, a 2011 J-horror effort fresh to Blu-ray on these shores, might mark a return to form.
