Roll on

It may not be traditional, but this Norman sushi stop sure is tasty.

Restaurant Reviews

Ryan Querbach
Full Moon Sushi and Bistro
326 E. Main St., Norman
701-1800
What works:
a wide variety of sushi options
What needs work:
It’s not the best spot for those seeking traditional Japanese sushi.
Tip(s):
It’s a comfortable atmosphere with a friendly staff, so stop here for casual and/or intimate dining.

From Lima, with love

Sample the broad diversity of Peruvian cuisine or stick to familiar Tex-Mex at this dual menu eatery.

Restaurant Reviews

Doug Hill
Mamaveca Mexican Restaurant
2551 Hemphill Dr., Norman
573-4003

What worked:
a fine selection of well-presented Peruvian and Tex-Mex dishes.
What needs work:
We were served only bland red salsa, but there’s a spicy green version, too. It would improve the dining experience to offer both.
Tip(s):
It’s a Mexican restaurant with Peruvian soul.
