A former OSU wrestler heads to London to compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Coleman Scott, a former NCAA champion at Oklahoma State University, secured the final spot on the U.S. Olympic wrestling team in June. Despite winning the Olympic team trials in April, he still had to win a tournament in New York City to earn his place in the 132-pound (60 kg) weight class for London.

The Spy returns to radio

Partnership with KOSU brings beloved alt format back from the dead.

After an abrupt jump from the airwaves to an online-only model, the locally loved The Spy is returning to terrestrial radio. Beginning Aug. 20, The Spy will live from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on KOSU, the NPR station that serves the Oklahoma City metro at 91.7 on the FM dial.

Oklahoma State University loves its orange and black, but it looks like there’s also room for a fair amount of green. That’s according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which named OSU fifth in the nation for green-power purchasing among colleges and universities.
