St. Patrick’s Day isn’t until Sunday, but Saturday is when Bricktown celebrates it with a 22nd annual block party! From noon to midnight at Sheridan and Oklahoma avenues, enjoy continuous live music from the likes of Laura Leighe pictured and Super Freak. The parade runs from 1 to 3 p.m. Admission is free, whether or not you’re wearing green. Visit bricktownokc.com.

This isn’t your average day at the races. Camels, ostriches and zebras will invade Sunday at Remington Park, 1 Remington Place, for the fourth annual Extreme Racing event, starting at 1:30 p.m. In addition, the day features a 21-inch miniature horse and pig races on the plaza — oh, and normal-size horsies, too, for your betting pleasure. Although Earth Day officially has passed, that’s not stopping Oklahoma State University–Oklahoma City from going green with its fourth annual Earth Day Fair, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the 900 N. Portland campus. Outdoors at the Student Center, attendees can enjoy free food, music, prizes and more. Admission is free. Call 947-4421 or visit osuokc.edu.

A Memorial Day weekend tradition returns as the Paseo Arts Festival fills the the Paseo Arts District from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. More than 80 visual artists will be featured, as will children’s entertainment, a food court and two stages of live music that includes Beau Jennings, Jumpship Astronaut, Parker Millsap and more acts than your ears have wax.
