If Broadway and Disney classics are your song and dance, rejoice in the sounds of Liz Callaway as she kicks off the University of Central Oklahoma’s 16th annual Broadway Tonight Series at Mitchell Hall Theater on Edmond’s UCO Campus, 100 N. University. The Emmy-winning performer will be joined by The Young Voices of Edmond at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $25. Call 974-3375 or visit uco.edu.

Both the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University kick off the 2013 football season Saturday. The Sooners play Louisiana-Monroe at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, 180 E. Brooks in Norman, while the Cowboys take on Mississippi State at Reliant Stadium in Houston.

If you’re like us, rhythm ain’t exactly your forte. Luckily, you can live vicariously through acclaimed international percussion sensation STOMP, which knows a thing or two about the subject. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Fine Arts Center, 100 Campus Dr. in Weatherford. Tickets are $5-$20. Hear ye, hear ye! Benjamin Franklin lives! Okay, not quite. But TheatreOCU Artistic Director Lance Marsh will bring the founding father back to life for National Constitution Day in a performance to honor the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. The resurrection takes place at 6 and 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel on the Oklahoma City University campus, 2501 N. Blackwelder Ave.. Admission is free.
