Arguably the quintessential romance, Romeo and Juliet needs no introduction. The Broadway production starring Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad was captured on camera, and you can see it on the big screen 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Sunday at AMC Quail Springs Mall 24, 2501 W. Memorial Rd., and Regal Spotlight Stadium 14, 1100 N. Interstate Drive in Norman. Tickets are $7-$9.75. Visit fathomevents.com.

We here at Oklahoma Gazette love documentaries because they deal with real issues (just like we do). Oklahoma City University also loves them, which is why its annual Documentary Film Series is now in its 16th year. Check out Emma Joan Morris’ 1993 Sundance favorite Something Within Me 2 p.m. Sunday at OCU’s Kerr McGee Auditorium, NW 27th Street and McKinley Avenue. Admission is free. Visit okcu.edu/film-lit.
