There’s rocking the boat, and then there’s the Rock the Boat festival. The first festival of its kind (like, ever) will feature live music performed by ACM@UCO students on those cool little traveling Bricktown Water Taxis, shopping opportunities and family-friendly activities. The floating/rocking begins at 12 p.m. Sunday along the Bricktown Canal, 198 E. California Ave. Admission is free. Visit downtownokc.com.
Oklahoma City has its fair share of traditions, but one of the coolest (literally) is snow tubing in downtown OKC each year. Slide your way down to Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, 2 S. Mickey Mantle Drive, noon-8 p.m. Saturday- Sunday. Tickets are $10. Call 218-1000 or visit downtownindecember.com.
