If the area around Oklahoma State Fairgrounds’ Expo Hall at 3212 Wichita Walk smells of kitty litter this weekend, there’s a good reason. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the Oklahoma City-based cat club Thunderkatz presents its 16th annual Championship All-Breed and Household Pet Cat Show in seven rings running simultaneously. Admission is $5, or free for kids 12 and under. Call 213-5612 or visit thunderkatz.org.

Root root root for the home teams — Oklahoma State University and University of Oklahoma, that is — as the Big 12 Baseball Championship swings away at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark for a 15-game series. It begins at 9 a.m. today, with the final game at 1 p.m. Sunday, so place your bets! (Er, don’t — that’s illegal, actually.) Weekend passes are $67-$117; allsession passes, $87-$202.
