Oh my, you better. Takei joins the OKC Philharmonic Pops for their “Sci-Fi Spectacular” 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Civic Center Music Hall, 201 N. Walker Ave. Tickets are $15-$65. After each matinée performance of Oklahoma City Ballet’s The Nutcracker, kiddos can get autographs and take pictures with Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Nutcracker Prince himself. One believer donated $100 for each religious leader who signed the petition against the show, organizers said. That’s $7,400.

Making headlines the past couple of weeks has been a small play by OKC Theatre Company and a letter from a group of pastors demanding the play be closed. The ruckus over The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told has actually resulted in the theater company receiving several large donations. Artistic Director Rachel Irick said an anonymous donor contributed $7,400. That’s $100 for every pastor’s name on the letter.
