The former owner of Galena’s at 6444 Northwest Expressway has moved her operation and is now just selling groceries. Although there is no restaurant, people can stop by and pick up Polish pierogi brought in from Chicago, stuffed cabbage, wonderful tortes, preserves, fish, a few salads and even caviar. The food is from Russia, Poland, Italy and Germany, among others.
